anyone snowed in…?

We’ve got snow up to knee deep in places, no way we’re going anywhere in the car for a few days at least. The village is cut off, there’s no buses running into town, thank goodness we have a small shop, chemist and post office, as no one is going very far on wheels in this!

We are due for a storm in the US tomorrow. It will be pretty typical for us. I live in one of the snowiest cities in the world, so we have an armada of snowplows at the ready.

Today it’s sunny and so warm I drove to the pdoc with my windows down. Tomorrow, we will be in white-out conditions. Spring is a strange season.

Meanwhile I know they are probably trying to film next seasons game of thrones and Vikings.

The weather better not interfere.

We are snowed in by up to 2 feet of snow today, the local shop has run out of milk, bread and other basics, the deliveries cannot get through.

About 9 years ago we actually had a blizzard in Tennessee and 13 inches of snow piled up in my town on February 31st-March 1st. I can’t decide if it’s better or worse than the flooding we are experiencing now really which is a scary prelude to Spring.
