Oh well , that was a waste of money . Cafetiere came .You have to assemble the inner parts together . Cue me going into idiot mode. Can I do it? Can I *%^! ! . That’s what you get for having the non-verbal intelligence of a brain dead gnat and motor skills that suck big time . It’s going to have to be unassembled and reassembled with every wash. Eek ! I guess I should have thought of that before buying. You can wonder whether your ‘dyspraxic’ symptoms have improved with time and then something like this tells you- “no way!”
I have just found I can click the non filter parts together without the filter in the middle. However when I put the filter in the middle it slides here and there preventing me from clicking the other two parts together.
I normally use those sachets of coffee. My last cafetiere came second hand already assembled . I just took out the plunger part and washed it under the tap. I didn’t have to assemble and unassemble/reassemble each part.
This must be very tedious.
I too not good in DIY assembling and disassembling.
Although not officially diagnosed as such it’s highly probable I have dyspraxia.
I would have global dyspraxia. Definite =constructional, ideotional, gross and fine motor. possible= ideomotor and visual
Perhaps you jumped into conclusion too early. It is good to identify problems, but it is definitely not your weakness.
The other one I had was a lot more solid/ not as cheap looking. This one looks as though it came from a cheap shop , but I paid £10.95 for it.
