Has anyone had their teeth whitened? What was the process? How much did it cost? Did you see results? Was it worth it? Do you recommend it?

My invisible braces came with a teeth whitener, but I was warned not to use it because I have a filling on my front tooth, and it currently matches the shade of my tooth, but if I whiten them it will stand out.

I’ve done both in home trays and in office lasers.
The trays made my teeth hurt and itch, made them feel weak, and after stopping them they went back quickly.
The laser lasted longer but was expensive. Both disappointed me. And wasted my money.
Granted I chug coffee and was a smoker

Something else to consider is that teeth aren’t supposed to be white. They’re supposed to be slightly yellowish-gray. That is the color of bones. Super white teeth usually get that color from bleach, which weakens your teeth. Baking soda and hydrogen peroxide should be the only active ingredients in any healthy whitening agent.

My dentist doesn’t recommend the whitening on me too, cause I have many front fillings and they’ll stand out after the procedure lol… Unfortunately, because of the meds, my teeth turned grey with the time, which is the hardest color to whiten… I guess I wont do it soon, but maybe try from time to time some whitening products from the pharmacy…

You could talk to your dentist to find out what kind they recommend.

My mum has it done. She paid a lot of money for it and to be honest the difference wasn’t that great.
