FFS She’s a mediocre singer songwriter with run of the mill vocal ability . If she was a ‘plain Jane’ she’d be eking out a living singing on cruise ships, or something else at an equivalent level.

A girl who has totally re-wrote the modern canon of boring and totally pop songs.
Totally works with modern people who can’t get a date and realise this alt country inspired and uninspired music is totally them.
Good on her for her mega millions and totally great lifestyle. Only interesting thing is she’s dating Kelce from the Chiefs otherwise who cares?
Meanwhile. So many better bands aren’t getting dick because Taylor gets stupid amounts of airplays on the streaming services. It’s criminal to art. But that is just about those who are selling more albums more artistic/cooler than hers…

I wish those fans were listening to Squirrel Radio. Unfortunately I think they are pumping out heaps of hits on Spotify and others which really do cruel money for the artists but glad your fighting the fight matey.
I am not a fan of the Swifties. Like so much good music goes down the tube because they can’t get a fanbase or audience and Taylor has too much of one. It’s not even that good to someone like me who grew up through punk/alternative even mainsteam…

Here’s something fun you’ll never hear on the radio:
The guitarist, bassist, and vocalist is Lisa Dodd Watts. She’s the bass player for country singer Gord Bamford. The drummer is Sean Watts. If you look him up you’ll find he was the original drummer for Nickleback before they became a thing. I honestly think he’s better than their current drummer.
These songs are what Sean and Lisa threw together when they were stuck at home in the middle of the pandemic. Everything recorded and mixed in Sean’s home studio.
They are my old neighbours from Hanna, AB.

I’m lucky to have so many good female role models past and present in my life.
A billionaire songstress who lives a great captialistic life and does nothing but rail about how they can’t keep a boyfriend sadly isn’t one. Seriously. So many positive females out there in life than a hack country/pop singer…Just my two cents.
