Taking Antidepressant every other day - effective?

The medicine has to be in your system to work. Look at the half life of the drug for further insight

Historically, all the AD I have tried have failed, taken as prescribed.

So I am looking for something novel which may have an effect on my anxiety long term.

Albeit there is little research done in this area so I am looking at what my system reacts to

when my serotonin receptors are flooded and then deprived of this chemical by taking AD’s

every other day.

Thanks for your posts.

I have had a bad spell with anxiety recently. I have had 2 attacks in the last 4 days.

The only thing that worked was lorazepam 2mg.

The further bad news is that my GP has put the brakes on giving me anymore lorazepam due

to its addicting nature. I tried pointing out to him on average I was taking the tablets once a

week but he was having none of it.

That’s why they never even gave me anti anxiety medication only seroxat
Then again I would rather not take it and risk addiction

Did seroxat on its own stop the anxiety, Shellys12?

Yes it helps motivation and make you feel more positive

what about the anxiety/panic attack side of things.?

I don’t really get panic attacks
It helps anxiety yes along with exercise and diet

The panic attacks I get are quite debilitating even worse than the schizophrenia.

Nothing has worked unfortunately.
