Lol so there is a Christmas cover\parody of system of a downs B.Y.O.B called n.o.e.l…it was flagged by who ever owns skynyrds music for a full 2 mins of supposed ripping off of freebird…lol lol what…they contested the flag and demonetization of the video…and YouTube agreed…with the original flag…so apparently b.y.o.b is freebird…funniest flag and demonetization I’ve ever heard…

We have a bunch of music heads some of which play instruments was hoping they might weigh in on this…I focus on words mostly so maybe I’m missing some of the music parts that may be similar…but the time signatures are obviously diff…the guitar rifts are pretty unique I don’t understand where their finding these similarities…
The thing is, I thing SYOD would approve of that parody, and then silently kick themselves that they didn’t think of it first.

Almost all these claims of theft are silly to me. They always seem like reaches. It’s like a famous painter looking at a tree in a painting abstracted in a way he likes to and says, “WHOA, ripped off my painting man!” There are layers to songs, and they always pick out one layer.
