I have read about stuff like this before because of my own medical condition(s). and other problems that could develope with it. It very interesting.
There are many research articals out there already discussing brain-computer interfaces. They have existed for many years and are used widely for seizure patients. The type of interface they are talking about here maybe very different.
Maybe they are wanting to develope more technology to help with other problems.
Maybe we will become the borg? lol
