Success with Abilify

I have been taking 10 mg of aripiprazole for the fourth week and it has improved thought broadcasting. Now I am taking 20 mg Abilify and I think I’m going to beat thought broadcasting. What about your experiences with Abilify?

Works good for thought broadcasting apart from the side effects, but other than that it beats risperdone which is the only other AP I’ve ever used though.

It also seems to help OCD, idk if you’ve ever been diagnosed with that though, a lot of us that have sz also have ocd supposedly. Seems like thought broadcasting usually goes along with really bad ocd

Helped with a lot of positive symptoms,

Kept my weight lower,

But made my hair fall out.

Not worth it to me.

For a year and a half, I tried many antipsychotics and finally found the weakest aripiprazole, which I liked a lot and which was not prescribed because of its weakness.

Yeah. For me it seemed like other APs were too strong. Especially if your case of sz is “mild” like mine was.

It’s still considered an AP, atleast it doesn’t “zombiefy” you too bad or it’s side effects aren’t as bad

yes my sz is mild too . I had it 5 years before i was diagnosed. I didn’t realize that something was wrong with me, but in the end OCD got worse and I realized that something was wrong.

Sounds really similar to mine, which abilify worked really good. Maybe we’re cousins haha
