I dreaded it until I realized the inspector is capable of being my friend and is only looking out for my own good. The problem is there are sooooo many rules to keeping an adult foster care home compliant. I’d say, human nature being what it is, it’s impossible. So I’m counting on the inspector being able to cut us a little slack. It’s not their nature, but I’m hoping. This has been my home for 17 years and I’d hate to have it shut down because someone drank a cup of coffee in their bedroom. This home is my family. We give and take.
