After the long winter I feel energy flowing into me
it is the spring sunlight that is melting all snow
I feel great as days are getting longer and lighter
heading toward the summer and its warmness
I see the whole surrounding environment enjoying this sunlight
after the long dark winter we had
we made it to another spring and coming summer
I am happy to be alive.

The sun is warm upon my face.
The grass is blowing in the wind.
How I long for these spring days as a child, when I felt like going on a picnic.
Now my body worn, and my mind gone, I still look to the sky.
Feeling invigorated.
