Just curious on this one… why did they change the name to schizophrenia?? I feel like split mind is easier and doesn’t sound as harsh, also feel like it would change the whole “how many personality’s do you have” bs… jw if anyone knew the facts behind that one
It’s never been called split mind. Split mind is what schizophrenia means. It was called dementia praecox briefly before schizophrenia was coined.

At school you either learn to think for yourself or let someone teach you how to think to be useful in a profession.
I was always inclined to think for myself.
You dont need to go to school to do that.

Well yeah I mean I actually think I’m rather intelligent but then I get real down on myself and say I’m dumb. But I thought myself pretty much everything I know. And the fact I have amnesia makes me feel dumb😔

If youre like me and apparently a lot of szs you probably rely on intuition for a lot of things. I think intiition gets szs in trouble because paranoia is like an intuitive thing. You know you’re using intuition when you know something without knowing.

Yeah maybe, I always look at intelligence as ability to look at things differently. And like uhhh idk how to word it dissect things maybe? I feel like that’s not what im trying to say lol
Youre questioning yourself too much like you have self doubt. Intuition is often wrong, some rationalists consider it guessing. If youre an intuitive thinker just say what you think
