Spending the New Year

How will you spend your new year? And what is your resolution for the coming year?

At home.

Resolution.

Nothing

Not sure. Probably going out like a visit to a scenic spot in suburb. It depends on weather. No new year’s resolution but a consistent effort on keeping a positive life style.

Just sit at home and watch tv, probably be in bed long before the new year comes in.

No goals for 2018, other than try to work a little more

I am going to my friend’s house for a party. I hope I do ok at it. We are going to watch the New Year celebrations in different time zones as the day goes on. We are bringing the kids, so I will probably be noisy. I’ll take my propranolol and hope for the best.

My new year’s resolution is to get rid of this darn mommy tummy of mine

I’ll be having a dinner with some close friends. It’s been a while since we’ve gotten together properly, but We’re doing it. My resolution is to keep being positive as well, and stay out of the hospital.

For New Years I am having hot pot or turkey with family, then hopefully staying up for the fireworks. I have monthly goals, not yearly goals. By the end of January I want to complete substitute teaching certification and day treatment and loose 2-3 pounds. I will make new goals as I go along. I applied for two temporary jobs but haven’t heard back yet. Maybe I’ll be working in February!

It’s great to have monthly goals. Wish you good luck in finding a good job.

Do you work?
I just applied to be a seasonal tax clerk. It is only temporary. I’m not expecting a career anytime soon, just looking for something “fun” to do that isn’t too stressful.

Good for you. I’m just trying to find a good balance. Monthly goals sounds great. Gonna try that this year.

I think u are high fuctioning Sz…try to work tukey …!!!

Yes I function pretty well @far_cry0 but that doesn’t mean I want to work the rest of my life. I live a very happy life not working. I don’t really need the money right now either since I get a lot of benefits. I’m thinking maybe substitute teach a couple times a week just to do something “productive” and save up money to do a computer programming bootcamp or a car.
