Rocking In The Free world, played by Neil Young, Soundgarden and Pearl Jam live on stage in Toronto. Far from my favorite song of Neil’s, but the memory Associated is awesome
Also, Green Day’s “Time of Your Life” for various reasons. I remember the first time I played it for the brain injury group, the coordinator Dawn was really stunned by the line, “dead skin on trial”. I’ve always loved that line as well. Anywho… it triggers a number of memories for me
Pink Floyd’s Wish You Were Here. We used to party at a good buddy of mine Bill’s Cottage. Every year, summer and winter. I can’t count how many campfire parties we had, playing the guitars and singing like fools. Lol. That song was one of the crowd favorites.
Bill died of cancer a few years ago, and now that song always makes me think of him. ■■■■■■■ excellent human being. Love you Billy
Wow, @Nomad
I totally forgot about that song- where’d you go
Thanks for reminding me! I’ll have to listen to it tomorrow😀
