Got out of bed and couldn’t find Colette anywhere in the house.
She was playful in the morning but after this I found her hiding in one of her safe zone hiding spots behind my bed.
It took her a while but she finally went on to my bed.
I offered her treats but she refused them as she kept staring at the bedroom door.
I can’t think of anything that could have scared her so much!
We had no visitors or guests come into the house today.
I’m thinking that my father scared her off somehow, he doesn’t care for her so much.
He’s denying it but my gut feeling is doubting his intentions.
Oh no! Something spooked the cat that lives under my front porch. She won’t come out to be affectionate anymore. She’s hiding all the time and I don’t know why. If I call to her she comes near me and meows a lot but won’t come close for pets or food. I’ve started putting her food near the spot she dug to get under the porch. Poor kitties! I wonder what happened to both of them
Sometimes cats will hide when they feel sick or stressed. If there have been any changes around the house that might cause stress and cause her to hide. If she’s sick it could be something minor but if she doesn’t return to normal in a few days I recommend checking with a vet
