Medication and therapy.

My go to is following the thought see where it goes then where it comes from. Maybe you feel blocked in or too controlled. Or you might just be picking up on something

Or you’re a schizophrenic in need of medication and therapy to manage your symptoms.

@Erez_Shmerling have you ever tried meds?? Never?? Because once you said to me the meds don’t work but I get the impression you’ve never tried meds so how do you know?? They work for me so I think they’ll work for you. Even if it takes a couple of meds.

So you’re saying that since he’s schitzo that he is incapable of picking up things on an instinctual level? How do you think animals communicate? How do you explain gut instinct? All I’m saying is just because someone is mi doesn’t mean they aren’t part of humanity. Yes I agree he needs to put some faith in meds but you can’t blind yourself to normal things because you’re overloaded by unnormal things

@gonehuntin I think that thoughts regarding moving abroad are hostile intrusive thoughts,
I can feel very well in Israel,
if I manage to control my thoughts.
If my thoughts regarding moving will be so bad as to strangle my capacity to function,
then yes I’ll have to move abroad.
All this is if healthy, but I am not!
It may be that if healthy I won’t have these intrusive thoughts at all!

I’m saying he badly needs medication. He isn’t taking any right now and it shows.

I should care, why?

If I didn’t feel he was part of humanity I wouldn’t be encouraging him to seek treatment to help with his suffering, which is considerable.

The best way to appreciate normal things is to deal with the unnormal things thru medication and therapy.

I definelty understand that . As long as you are in control and content within yourself you’re fine but as soon as you imagine getting away from where you live you seem trapped? Am I right or did I misinterpret?

I think that the thought that I have to move is itself a trap.
It is one intrusive thought among many.
I have a nonstop stream of intrusive thoughts that drive me crazy, I started taking medication yesterday
and if it doesn’t help I’ll try other medications.

I know what you mean. It’s like it wants to send you into a spiral and take away your control. Give the meds some time. Any meds I’ve taken has took montha to even affect me

So you’re saying that before you just stated that you wanted to go abroad because the voices told you to say that. I have been there. You have to be careful not to do everything that they say. Anyway I already said my piece. Personally I think you need to give medication a shot. However I don’t know how mental health is dealt with in Israel.

Hi @Erez_Shmerling, sorry to disappoint you!!! You advised me for Political commentators jobs. Its a journalist job. But I am really paying Rs 300 - 400 per 2 - 3 months to some journalists for not to publish about my work. So it depends on level of carrier.

I am glad u start taking medication erez…my ap are not for my psychosis they are for my sleep…i hate my negative negative symptoms…
