So folks if you follow my story here I’ve been doing some really good things in my life especially this year. I’ve lost 19 kgs so far and almost down to my goal of 85 or so. I have 4 kgs to go and it’s reachable and it’s going well. I’m also thinking, if it’s going to be on my terms, of going back to turf wicket maintenance at the cricket club…still a lot of discussions there. Also. I’m signing up and after a couple of years break I’m going back to play in the over 40’s cricket with one of my brothers.
The bad news is that I’m busy doing things and my screen time has been radically affected. With this in mind I just can’t guarantee my time here anymore and I certainly don’t want to be doing a half assed job of it moderating.
So it’s not the best timing but I have announced to the team and @SzAdmin that I would be stepping down as a volunteer moderator effective when the boss catches up. I still will be an active member here but probably will be on every couple of days or so. It’s been a good thing to be able to help out with the moderation here for a couple of years so it’s with some sadness I have to move back to being a member but life is what happens when you make other plans.
So behave yourself folks and will catch up eventually. Things may change in the future so who knows but currently I need the break and have a lot going on. Sincerely R1!
We are going to miss you as a mod. I mean seriously. YOu’re a great guy and a success story. I will miss having you on as much, but I guess we will still see you around.
Mate, you’re a great friend and an inspiration. I particular like how you’ve always reminded me to keep stress low. That’s something that many nuerotypicals just don’t get.
But you have to do what’s right for you and your life.
I am going to miss you on those lonely nights, but I know you’re just a keystroke away.
Hey @rogueone you did an awesome job moderating here, much appreciated.
Great to have you around in this community.
Good to see youve got some good life stuff going on
I think its great you’ve been concentrating on your health and fitness, & its great you’re prioritising that, well done for the weight loss and good luck with the cricket team.
I was hoping to join my local cricket club this season as well but didn’t get around to it (just on the weekend) it the end of the season now so idk what happens but I’m still keen on it, i even bought a bat/ball & wickets but I’ve not had anyone to play with.
Hi @TheCanuk, things have been happening in the background and there will be an announcement with a pleasant surprise in it shortly. Please do not adjust your dial.
