Me and my sisters drove up to see my stepdad and his wife. It was like a two hour drive and we went out to lunch then back to their house and talked for 3 1/2 hours. It was tiring and I only talked a minimum amount but it was kind of fun. It’s only once a year.

Glad you had a good day matey. If it’s not your cup of tea as they say it’s hard work but I say if you put in the hard work where it becomes light work with social situations you can have some fun.
Keep working on getting out there. I think you have a lot to offer others and I always say that so take some kudos that you can get outside your comfort zone if you have too. It’s not always easy for most of us but the outcomes are so worthwhile.

I am very happy for you @77nick77 . Socializing makes the time go so much faster and if doesn’t get you tired could be relaxing. And yeah it is normal for her to have more to say, she has a more busy life.
