Yeah it’s sad. I used to be able to make new friends and was somewhat socially smart. Now it feels like shooting in the dark.

I definitely have these symptoms prettt bad. Ive always thought that i lost who i am and have been acting or pretending to put on facial expressions and the like in social settings. But i guess its just the sz social cognitive issues. But i have learned a lot over the years at trying to seem normalish in conversation. And for the most part it works unless im anxious or tense at the time.

I think it depends on the person. Like maybe a third of people will judge and two thirds don’t.

I’ve always been quite, but not totally, asocial. I’ve always had difficulty making friends, a situation that’s not helped by substantial difficulty initiating a conversation. The bullying I was subjected to has also had a bad effect. A bad effect in that I’ll self sabotage things if I sense a person getting too close to me. That’s because I feel that the more people get to know about me, the more I’m likely to be rejected. Better to reject than be rejected.
