I have a pacemaker. It’s annoying when I put my cell phone in the wrong pocket and it turns off and I pass out. Just so you know what to expect.

It’s not actually that big of a deal to me. It would just have been nice to have been warned by the hospital. They send you home with a warning to stay away from microwaves.
Microwaves haven’t been a problem for decades. It’s stuff like headphones and cell phones that will get you. Induction burners can also heat up wiring in your chest if you get too close.
