Her back pain is just getting worse and she won’t have any insurance for like a year after she gets disabilty…her disability lawyer is about to win the claim for her…I just wish she could get the help she needs…!! she is in so much pain with her back and her headaches…sad…I told her about the amyloban mushrooms helping with pain and she doesn’t want to try it…helpless.
I’m sorry Angie is suffering like this,
I hope her disability comes through soon,
It’ll be such a relief.
yes indeed…we are really hoping this will be her last appeal…
Is she in treatment for this back pain,
Like seeing a doctor?
no, that’s the thing…no money for a doctor and no insurance to get an MRI…that in itself would get her disabilty but she is going the mental illness route for her disability. so sad about it…
That’s terrible.
If it gets bad enough at least you can take her to the ER.
They’ll run some diagnostics and make sure its not something urgent.
yes she is bipolar…thanks for the support…not.
That doesn’t come off as compassionate @Daze.
I hope Angie gets the help she needs soon. I know all about unmanaged pain. She has my sympathies. @jukebox
I’m sorry your gf is in so much pain, @jukebox. I used to be in a LOT of back pain too. I turned it all around with daily yoga. Maybe Angie could too? I also take Naprosyn for pain 500 mg twice a day with food. That really helps too. Angie could ask her doctor about it.
@SkinnyMe is your pain med an opioid? she won’t take it if it is…
It’s naproxen,NSAID.
Mine is meloxicam. It is strictly a high dose of ibuprofen.
No, @jukebox, it is not an opioid. It is a non steroidal anti inflammatory med. It works against pain. You have to take it with food though.
Yes, this is good too.
I’m sorry she is having troubles. I hope she can find relief. I’ve been told voltaren helps. Plus intermittent ice and heat. Obviously that’s not a long term solution but may bring some relief.
((Hugs))
you can get some over counter pms meds it will help with pain and headaches… as recommendation advil pms formula.
it has naproxian sodium and mild caffine… it will help at least her head aches.
also look up veterian meds you can get if desperate anti inflamtory meds for big puppies… that will work on people… its an old poot country boy trick… just becareful to get the right strength.
She might want to consider taking opioids if the doctor has suggested it. They get a bad rap but oxycontin is a miracle for my mother with her bladder disease. It allows her the energy and body comfort to complete a full active day. During the few times her meds have been unattainable due to mixups, she is in awful pain and often in tears. Just because some people abuse their meds by taking extra or taking them any way but orally doesn’t mean everybody does.
Of course I’m assuming it’s a chronic condition. If it could be cleared up with surgery or something that’s different.
