They’ll probably contact you very soon to reschedule. In the meantime you can draw a preliminary conclusion about being able (or not) to quit the depot altogether. I hope you won’t get bad withdrawals.

Those were my thoughts exactly - a little trial run.
That worries me a bit Jimbob, it didn’t go well when you tried quitting the oral meds, I’m worried the same thing will happen if you don’t get your depot… Maybe you should ring up and ask to make an appt to get it - much as it sucks to get a jab in yer arse

Am only on a small dose of the depot anyway. At my last appointment my doc told me of his intention to take me off it soon anyway. Am just bringing the date forward a bit. Promise I will get in touch with the team at the first sign of problems.

Ok, I see, that’s good you’re coming off the depot with the agreement of your dr, at least if things start to slide they will be aware. Really hope that it goes well, I’m glad to hear you say you’ll get in touch with the team if need be, but hopefully it will be a positive step forward for you, I know the injections left me feeling very sedated. Fingers crossed

I hear this from time to time. The Consta doesn’t do that to me. Perhaps because I’m only on 25 mgs.
