So kinda eating out of tins for a while

That sounds very hearty! It’s more of a breakfast menu, right?

This is why I love my rice cooker. I use it a lot. Found for $8 at a thrift store!

Beans on toast! So United Kingdom dish… bring in the tomatoes… the only reason I know this is because I watch a lot of British tv shows.

I’m a very picky person, and I can’t imagine wanting beans and toast to touch, but I hope you enjoy it. I’m just gustatorially challenged.

We are lucky in that we have plenty of food. We didn’t a couple of weeks ago, but we’ve always had something to eat- thank goodness- and we just restocked two weeks ago.

Is funny to think that we need emergency supplies in this day and age. But most folk in my village do keep a stockpile of emergency supplies

Don’t think so. I had a busy day today (went into Cumbernauld) so think I am going watch the exit pole at 10pm then hit the hay. You?

Had a regular appointment with my nurse. Usually she comes to my house but we tried having it at her office - so I could push myself at getting out of the house.

I got the bus in (I have a bus pass). It went ok. I went to costa for a coffee

Set my alarm for 8am this morning. Was gonna chicken out of the nurses meeting but forced myself to go vote at 9am. After that I had the motivation to get the bus to Cumbernauld

Sounds funny but I think if I hadn’t gone out to vote I wouldn’t have gone to Cumbernauld.

You vote today?

To be honest 8am is an early start for me.

Did your polling place have pens or pencils? Mine was pencils which I thought was slightly odd. Not sure if this is the same for every polling station

She is feeling a lot better thanks. She just popped round with my messages and took my doc letter to try to get a medical exclusion from jury duty.
