So I have most of the Asperger's symptoms

These “symptoms” of Asperger’s are very common in (highly) introverted people.. in my opinion at least.
Are you very introverted as well? Do you have symptoms of Asperger’s?
Btw, I’ve never been diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome.

I’ve taken several tests, none from doctors, and I always score really far into the likely category, but I don’t think I have it. I can read faces pretty well.

Are you an extrovert?

No. Nope. Absolutely not.

I was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome in 2011. I always score extremely high. I never had a girlfriend yet. I have had friends though. I could focus really well with caffeine. I would zone out a lot and play video games and stuff. My mom said they thought I had ADD as a kid but since I can focus well, I guess I don’t.

Then come some doctors and interns who tell me I don’t have Asperger’s. It’s the only test that’s consistent.

half of the symptoms !!!

I think it seems common for schizophreniics to have similar symptoms as Aspergers.

I was diagnosed by seven different psychiatrists I think as a schizophrenic.

But I was later on diagnosed by a clinical psychologist as Aspergers.

Someone said you can have both diagnosis.

My mum does not accept my schizophrenia diagnosis no matter how many drs diagnosed me with it and despite that I was in psychosis around her.

She thinks it is only Aspergers I have and that voices I heard n delusions were because I am sensitive…

My symptoms I have had and have now match schizophrenia .

I think she sees it as a “lesser “ disability .

The thing that does add is that I was a weirdo as a child and had symptoms when I was young child but no one understood and schizos usually get symptoms as adults but I had it as a child…

Maybe I have both diagnosis.

I suspected for a long time that I might have Asperger’s, and so did the psychiatrist at first, but he told me it’s possible for someone with SZ to have some symptoms of aspie as well, without having it.
Don’t know if that was just his personal opinion, though.

I have social needs at times, and I can read people to some extent now, so I guess I don’t have it, but it took me a long time to learn things like eyecontact and such. But that might be due to bullying and insecurities.

I was diagnosed with Asperger’s in 2007 the sz started in 2010 but I hid it until 2016 when Lucifer started talking to me and I hallucinated for the first time

I am pretty awkward in conversation and probably tend to offend people. Eye contact is hard for me but I am not as afraid of people as I used to be
