The local SavALot has excellent sales on meat. We scored 6 thick ribeyes for $23.
So steak, baked potatoes, and salad.

They started having these sales a lot. At least once a month. The little grocery store by my house has a big meat sale once a year. I spent like $30, if I remember correctly, and got 19 steaks last year. I think it was NY Strip. I prefer ribeye because it has more fat and is more tender.
Wegman’s sells these big chunks of beef, “fresh beef” that we used to get and cut into steaks. I think those 10 pound chunks were $45 to $50 about 7 years ago. I have a meat slicer like a deli slicer and you can use it to cut beef into steaks.

Had a Ringer Burger at A&W. There are strong winds in our area. Didn’t feel like paying $15 for a burger that ends up being half dirt.
@jukebox those are cheese curds on a pork patty with piri piri sauce snd a brioche bun.

you smash the meat of the burger while raw to about an eigth of an inch thick and then cook on high heat on each side…delicious.
