My twin’s family came to town today for the Thanksgiving holiday, but like many days since I moved away from home and my Mom moved from town I didn’t greet them when they came to my brother’s house. In a way it’s good to be sitting at the group home with a real bed and not be lying on the floor on a low mattress like I did before. On the other hand I will see less of my family. I’ve already established with them the idea that one day this week I’ll have to wash clothes at the home. It’s up to my Mom to pick me up and take me back and I may have a conflict with the van being used for long rides. You see one can’t stay behind when the van leaves just so we can wait on relatives to pick us up. When they go I go. I thought of putting down on the resident’s log that I was taking a walk in the neighborhood and leave until the van does and come back to wait on family. But I’ve decided that’s a bad idea. Happy Thanksgiving ya’ll.
