Sick of been called lazy

With my illness I lack the will to do anything. I just can’t bring myself to achieve any goals I just sit in front of my laptop all day. My grandfather called me lazy and I have a attitude problem. Does anyone else understand about the negative symptoms

i think its the sedation from the meds, just tell your grandpa its the meds :slight_smile:

I also am seen as lazy when in reality I can’t help it. My brain doesn’t put dopamine in the right place.

yeah its just faulty wiring of the brain its not my fault I used to such high functioning. now im just a zombie

It is a common misconception that people with Schizophrenia are lazy. It is the negative symptoms though.
