The family thinks my husband and I, who are both on disability and have 3 children, should let his older brother live with us so we can take care of him.
He tells people he’s rich and he buys expensive things he can’t afford to show off. He’s never lived on his own, never had bills to pay, and while living for free with their dad, he filed for bankruptcy twice.
He also, as confirmed by my husband, had tried to drug me twice. Plus, he stole $18,000 from their dad while their dad was on his death bed. Honestly, we really don’t want him in our home.
We don’t want to deal with his problems. It would most likely destroy our marriage
It was nice having both a brother and sister. In fact, I had two sisters, but one left home when I was seven. I’m the baby of the family and get ignored when everyone is together. My sister’s are domineering. I have a group text with all three, and even though they are working all day somehow they get the chance to write.
@everhopeful, thanks for thread…
I gave my brother half of apartment in court, after my mother died…
When the judges suggested that at least I should get right to live in apartment all life, I said, If he throws me out, there is no point…
After two years, he threw me out…
So I can’t count for him to watch over me, like my mother said to him…
My aunt and father give me about 100$ to survive, and pension is 150$,so I have 250$ a month…
I never have cooked meal, but I’m not complaining, cause it’s like that, end they expect favours for it…
i am the third of four. i am very fortunate. they are all very supportive understanding and helpful. mine also are knowledgeable about what to do so i am double lucky,
