Everyone who says this would make them paranoid needs to remember that this is a public forum, and anyone can view your posts whether they have an account or not.
If your support worker tries posting here, that would be against the rules and we would suspend her account.
Most mental health professionals just do not have enough empathy to be in the field. They just do it as any other job. Do not forget they do not give damn about your intelligence or smartness. To them you are just a mentally ill person and can not function like they do. No matter what you do this condescending nature of relationship is not going to go away and hence I would not trust them fully.
Tell her you blog and it helps you. I told my social worker but I didn’t tell her which site I was using.
Anything you put on the internet can be viewed by anyone. I am sure mental health workers have seen this site. If you are paranoid someone is monitoring you they have probably already found you.
Be careful what you post. I made a thread that had too much identifying information about me a month or so ago and I had to ask someone to delete it for me.
It’s ultimately up to you, but I’m not sure if this is a good idea. What if she comes across one of the threads where you were arguing with one of the Mods or other forum members? That might not provide the best example of you being supportive.
