Short-term vaccine side effects?

are we allowed to talk about side effects of the vaccine just like we talk about side effects of pills or risks of certain vitamins on this forum?

I thought it was all in my head. My dad assured me it was just because of being in a good mood that day.

within about 30 minutes of the pfizer vaccine I feel super high, like a euphoria. It happened each time, lasted about a day or two then went away. So like others they have the muscle cramps or chills. For me, I feel stimulated, have euphoria and delirium or disconnection. I couldn’t sleep. Its like it made me manic…I felt this all connection I could hear the music from everywhere.

I had the first dose March 18 2021 second April 25 2021 and third September 22 2021

so far I still dont know if there is a connection between the blood clots, low white blood cell count and the vaccines. I found that out in June and got a CT scan that showed blood clots in my lungs. Since no one said there was a connection I went ahead and got a third dose.

I personally had no noticeable side effects from either shot. I had the pfizer vaccine.

Both of mine knocked me flat on my back, like I had the dreaded Man Flu. I’ve since discovered that I’ve been directly exposed to COVID twice after vaccination without getting sick, and that was the main side-effect I wanted.

It’s weird how some people have severe side effects while others, like me, notice nothing.

All I had was injection site soreness.

It wasnt necessarily a bad feeling but it was strange…I know everyone has a different unique response to meds and vaccines. I do feel a bit more relieved that I have gotten it over with…despite so many out there keep saying that its “experimental”

My rationale for getting the booster shot is that its September. I was advised to get the booster in December but I have a gut feeling there could be a vaccine shortage by that time when its available to everyone 18+ so that would be bad…

Also covid19 is spiking right now in this state. I think the vaccines wear off about 6 months and that waiting 8 months is too long because of people getting breakthrough infections at 6-8 months.

Im really sensitive to medicines. I have this ultra awareness about how it effects me.

My parents did not get sick either, and they are in their mid and late sixties. I think that they had the moderna vaccine.

My uncle got the vaccine. Shortly after he got pneumonia. Could be a coincidence. Idk.

My first shot was Astrazeneca.I had a really sore arm for about a week and some body chills for a few days.

My second shot was Pfizer. My arm wasn’t nearly as sore and only for a few days, no other side effects.

The Astrazeneca was 0.5ml while the Pfizer was 0.3ml so maybe that difference in dosage made a difference in the soreness of my arm.

But overall my side effects were minor.

I don’t know if/when I will eligible for a booster shot, but if I am I will get Pfizer. I hear a lot about waning immunity for the Pfizer, Moderna and Astrazeneca vaccines but I haven’t heard anything about people like me who mixed and matched so I have no idea what my immunity is like right now. My second shot was about 3 months ago on June 22nd.

I’m hyper-sensitive. But I have always boasted a strong immune system. I think I have an over-active immune system. That’s not always a good thing hormones and genetic issues cause my illness HS which is recommended hormone treatment or immunosuppressive medications.

I never had HS before I started Abilify. I wonder if there is a link–it caused the obesity too. I never smoked before I was put on Abilify and gained all this weight…I never had breathing problems or sleep apnea before Abilify. And now I find out Abilify turns off like 10 expressions of my Genes?

I don’t know if this was linked to the vaccine but I had menstrual bleeding that lasted well over two months. Got it checked and it was nothing.

A few days ago on some other thread @Zoe told me she had a friend who had an antipsychotic side effect disappear after getting the shot. (At least I think that is what she said, I could be misremembering)

These shots are like any other medication. Different people have different reactions, it seems some reactions are rare or even unique.

I had covid and 2 Pfizer doses so I am immunized 3 times. First dose felt sick I vomitted but not with 2nd dose. 2nd dose I just had a headache for 1-2days. But even the 1st dose was much less severe than covid. Covid I was too sick with fever for 2 weeks, lost my taste and smell for a month, bad coughing and extremely tired for two weeks.

That is one thing Im almost 100 percent sure that the Pfizer vaccine is effective against the virus.

Don’t fully rely on the vaccine to keep you from catching covid. I am fully vaccinated and still caught it. Was mild, yes, but was even mild on my unvaccinated kids. So i don’t know what strain we caught.

Mask up. Stay away from people.

So even if I got the booster I should still wear a mask? Im planning a trip to NYC in October.

That’s what I said. No shot is 100%

I had that too but that was unrelated I think…it wasnt 2 months it just lasted a long time. I looked at my health records and realized that I have higher than normal thyroid levels. I dont know why the GP never mentioned that I have high levels of thyroid that are similar to someone who is pregnant…but I wasnt pregnant…I compared all three tests…they are slightly higher than normal.

Thats weird they didn’t say something. Aren’t you on thyroid meds yet?
