That sucks. I wish people didn’t get the fame they’re looking for when that happens

@SacredNeigh7 thank you…I feel safe mostly in this town…odd it happened…but these are odd days in America.

Yeah. They shouldn’t give any information about the shooter’s identity so they’re not feeling glorified

To be fair there’s so many shootings at clubs schools and workplaces in the USA that it’s not necessarily the instant ticket to infamy that it once was.

It scares me too, we had one in Maryland just a week ago at a workplace.

Shooter shot up a church 5 miles down last month.

I think theres multiple shootings every week.
I hope we do not get desensitized.
I think I am safe as I don’t go out in public spaces.

Here it’s almost impossible to get a firearm. But we still hear news of stabbings and other sorts of violent murders. Oh, and car accidents… so many drive under influence or even without a license. I guess we all have a wild gene that makes us lose ourselves under certain circumstances.

I’m shocked at the number of shootings. It makes me wonder what makes someone want to do a shooting. It has never crossed my mind to shoot someone. I’m afraid of guns. There are none in our house.

Well I’m opposite opinion than my x in sa about gun laws.
He thinks we should have free gun laws and i don’t.

I’m against weapons and doing harm for no reason and I’m against army too.

I know I don’t fit into society as such but there are a precious few in the world I’m comfortable with and fit in with and go well with but if I have different morals with them then maybe I have to leave or state my stand.

Nicer to live cruelty free vegan life and be peaceful.:pray:t4:

Most of these American shooters are young, male, white supremacists. They are like modern day KKK. They are angry about all the little black and latino children in the country’s schools. So they go to the schools and fire away. They are angry because they think minorities are trying to take over power from white people. @jukebox @Kxev @HollyHobby @Andrey @LilyoftheValley @SacredNeigh7

I am truly sorry for those who think and act like that.

I know your Constitution was originally written by white men, some of them slave owners, but it has come a long way since then and it stipulates that men are born free and equal in rights to each other.

I have been guilty of objectifying women, for example, or liking them much more based on how they looked rather than what character they had. I’m also afraid of members of a certain ethnic group based on my own unfortunate experience with them as an impressionable child.

But despite this mea culpa, I like to think I’m not racist and I would never point a gun or a knife at anybody, except maybe to ward them off, never to exterminate them.

This whole clinging to “power” is absurd. You even had a black president recently… I don’t get these people. Maybe, as said above, we all have a wild gene, however most of us also have self-control. I pity the few who don’t.

It is a terrifying phenomenon.

I also ran into some bad apples. But at the end of the day more people of my own color pissed me off than any other colors yet I do not hate my own race or any others.
