I had one a couple of years ago. I started with tropical but then switched the tank to marine. This was a huge mistake. It was so hard to keep the water parameters right in the marine tank. Also the fish were very sensitive. Not to mention it was expensive and I ended up rehoming them and giving up.
It’s my birthday this month and i am going to set up a tank. Tonight actually. I’m getting it off Facebook marketplace so it’s not too expensive and it’s a nice size too.
Once it’s up and running correctly I plan to add angel fish and rainbows. Maybe a nice pleco too.
I’ll post some pics later when I’ve cleaned it and set up.
It’s my birthday this month, too! I used to have a tank with a few neon Glo-fish in it and some snails but I got lazy about cleaning the tank and got frustrated when the algae would build up on the sides. I ended up giving them to a friend…I also found out that snails can reproduce asexually!
It’s very cloudy at the moment. It wil take a few days for that to clear up. Just waiting on the filter now to clean it up then I will add ornaments and fish.
