Sertralin miraculously decrease side effects of traditional antipsychotics. Give it a try after consulting you psychiatrist.

Did it help your anxiety?
My voices tell me that sertraline makes thought broadcasting louder. So annoying when I found it made me really bouncy and happy!! Definitely works but I had to come off due to what the voices said, couldn’t run the risk
Your AP doesn’t take that away?
The voices are asSholes.

It was like a miracle drug for me, went on it when I was sectioned and I was actually able to socialise until the voices took that away from me! it seemed too selfish making the thought broadcasting louder for other people !
Nope it helps make my voices quieter but that’s it!
Well I have thought broadcasting too. I have to tell myself it isn’t real or else I would be much less stable. Does it affect your daily life?
@spiderpig I ask you not to trust the voices, the voices have been telling
me ridiculous, hostile stuff for ages.
The voices are a symptom of the disease, don’t take what they say seriously.

I just couldn’t take the chance if it were happening, ya know! I just deal with the anxiety myself and I’m having CBT for it soon aswell! I’ve kinda gotten used to it!
It wears you down doesn’t it though, so happy the meds have made them really faint and quiet :’)
@aliali, are you aware of which side effects it helps with? I’m just curious, and maybe some others are wondering as well. I can’t take sertraline; I was tried on it a few years ago and it made me terribly suicidal, was on it for maybe a week before the dr took me off of it due to that side effect. I’m glad it has been a good drug for you, though! 
I started taking it and had great success also. My Dr said it wouldn’t help ,that’s not the chemical I needed. But it worked well right away. He only let me take it because my wife takes it and told me I had similar symptoms that it helped her with. It’s very inexpensive so I personally think it’s worth trying as you would know if it’s going to help in a few days then either stop it or enjoy it. But you won’t be out much it’s like 5$ a month at Walmart and helped my anxiety.
You should take it with high dose of traditional ap and also high dose of trihexyfenidil or biperidin because otherwise you will be manic and voices get louder.
