Do you ever see things a certain way and does it get stuck? For example, a few months ago, I started to see figures on mountains. Like there is silhouette of people on mountains from far away. When I visit different places, I see this pattern of silhouette on people on mountains.
I talked to a psychiatrist today and she prescribed Risperdal to me. When one starts taking anti-psychotics, do these go away? In other words, if you see something a certain way, can you unsee it?
Not to be the bad one but meds have yet to make me unsee but this med helps me distinguish real from figmint…but ■■■■it took a lot of meds to get here…just keep hope and welcome…
If what you are talking about is more to do with associating figures such as mountains with other figures, then that might not change.
What I mean is that if the mountains look like something other than mountains, or if you see an image carved into the mountain, they might always look a certain way to you. It’s more about your perception rather than about hallucinating.
I hope I have made myself clear. Sorry if I haven’t.
