i too think Alzheimer is associated with sz.i also have lots of similar forgetting symptoms…
Ouch , yes as far as I know there is increased incidences , but I wouldn’t worry about it. As far as I know there is no link to early onset , (in 50s , 60s 70s).
Just look at this again , the research is all over the shop for this. Nothing clear in terms of schiz causing Alzheimer’s.
There does seem to be some evidence that schiz and Alzheimer’s affect similar ‘areas’ of the brain. But again its all very unclear

Alzheimer’s is organically sound in terms of deterioration of the brain. It can be conclusively diagnosed without doubt. Schizophrenia is different , its not progressive like Alzheimer’s and its prognosis is no where as bad in terms of cognitive decline.
That should be obvious to everyone.
