Schizoaffective disorder bipolar type is essentially having two different disorders, schizophrenia and bipolar.

I’m SZA, bipolar type. I have more psychosis then affective symptoms.
Although I experience lots of psychotic symptoms if I’m off my medication
But on meds I experience mainly affective symptoms

I have external auditory hallucinations, avolition, visual hallucinations, and my temperament has changed, probably because I’ve aged - not the medication.
I have psychotic depression. I unfortunately have extreme depression that bursts into psychosis.
I have more issues regulating my mood than psychosis.

me too. i did have a manic episode in my life but after that not so much anymore…
Sza bipolar type here. I basically have mostly sz that just gets thrown for a fun curve ball when my mood swings decide to do a little jig.
