@Turtle43 it seems you are up really early. Not sleeping?

Nope :disappointed: unfortunately not

Oh, so sorry to hear that. I have been there many times before. I hope that this spell is short for you.

Yeah I’m thinking of finishing the cup of coffee and trying to lay back down.

Coffee doesn’t wake you up? It always does for me.

It’s almost 5 am here and I’m awake. Is there anyone else on this forum that is awake, too?

Im awake, it’s 10am and i havent slept. I just tried earlier but im not able to knock out. Tiring to say the least

Sometimes being on electronics stimulates the brain and makes it wake up more. Does that sound like you?

Yeah, definitely. I find it difficult to zone out bc im constantly glued to my phone screen - i havent developed the discipline to keep it away.

What’s keeping you up? :frowning:

In my case, I went to bed at 8pm and woke back up at 2:30am. That’s a decent night sleep for me so it doesn’t seem unnatural to be up at this hour anymore.

Ah, thats good. I slept between 12 and 1 for maybe forty minutes and have been awake since. :face_with_diagonal_mouth:

Do you have much planned today?

I had laundry and dishes to do, both completed. Currently just reading news articles

I have a religious class that is done on Zoom in a few hours. I need to vacuum my floors, change the sheets and walk up to the grocery store for a few things. That’s my day so far

I got the dishes out of the dishwasher and went grocery shopping. A cold Coke Zero is the reward :grinning:

Congratulations I do dare to say. That can sometimes be a feat.

That is a lot to do. It sounds like you are taking care of your new place, respect.

I hope the zoom session is enjoyable, its been awhile since ive taken part in a group acitvity or lecture. Its nice, to be a part of a community.

Do you have any interest in economics? I have just read about a move from state socialism to state capitalism in the kingdom of saudi arabia - it’s interesting.

I hope you’re able to get through all the activities planned. I might take inspiration and vaccum my floor. Ive got to tidy my clothes up too, i never ever really do that part - it overwhelms me a lot lol

Laundry is a chore that I am not ready to tackle yet. Maybe tomorrow. I can walk up to the store at 7am, and about 9am I should be able to vacuum the floors without people wanting to string me up. 10am starts the class that lasts until noon.

As far as this place goes, I love it here for the most part. I am living with a lot of women and the atmosphere at times is full of drama and gossip. I don’t join in.

That sounds nice, it sounds like its got a community vibe to it? Instead of say, everyone keeps reserved.

Its nice to walk out and be greeted, reminds you people exist. Im not a gossip type either. I understsnd your reseverations

I see, i feel the same about laundry. It does feel really good to have it done. Ive just vacccumed. Figured i might as well after reading your post. My place is really small so its quite easy to vaccum.

My apartment is only 500 sq. ft so it’s small too. I just can’t run the vacuum because of my neighbors sleeping. Good job getting that done! You’re ahead of me! There are seven women and me down my wing of the building. I was told I am the official bottle and jar opener. LOL

That’s a lot of bottles and jars to open :face_with_hand_over_mouth:

I dont actually know the measurements for my place, its temporary and im waiting for the permanent address still. Very nerve wracking or anxiety inducing. Because i just wsnt to move to the permanent place already.

Im glad you like your current place brother, this is great
