NO I don’t. I met him on their first date which happened to be the wedding of my nephew. She would talk about him but he didn’t start showing up at my house for visits until they were engaged. I think I have had him at the house maybe 8 or ten times. They have been dating for two years.

No it’s not. I don’t know, I think I do. I have this “No one is good enough for my daughter” thing that I struggle with.

Yeah, I can see that. I have a sister whose daughter is getting married to someone who works at McDonalds and she has expressed her displeasure at his lack of motivation before even though I have met him and he seems like a decent enough guy to me. I think a lot of parents are like that.
