Yeah I totaled a Mustang doing that when I was 16’ I rebuilt the car afterwards though. Out of two cars still have. That was my wife and is first date. We both ended up in a hospital. Should have read the signs. I broke my jaw and had my mouth wired shut for six weeks. Neither of us remember the accident. There was a doctor behind us and he told the police what happened.
Never buy belted tires. Always get radials. This was in the 80s. Not even sure if they still sell belted tires.
I forgot to talk about my lunch today. I made three new friends. This was from a post in my Township Facebook page. So far, we’re meeting again for lunch next week and next month.
Since there were posts about women making friends in the Township Facebook page there is now a women’s Facebook group for meeting up for friendship and we’re all in it. It’s nice to make friends that live close by.
Monty, I feel your pain. Growing up, we had those darned pop up inspections. Joys of government subsidized housing. My dad and sister still deal with that. And, like yours, they’re never really ready and have physical issues that make it difficult.
I’m glad you got your apartment mostly cleaned. Once at my ghetto apartment I was threatened by management to clean up my apartment or have to pay to have it cleaned. Kind of embarrassing when it gets to that point, but sometimes negatives kick my ass, too.
I might try to motivate myself to go to the laundromat, yeah. I still have plenty of clean clothes, though, so it’s not too big of a deal if I come up short on motivation. Otherwise I’ll mostly just chill.
