Word up. Right now any extra money I have goes to paying for things like my next concert and the upcoming festival (hotel, gas, food, etc). I’m having to restrict other purchases to make this stuff happen this spring and summer.

Right on big guy. Yeah it’s good to have a goal when it comes to saving money. I’m trying to build my savings up too for a Panasonic camera/camcorder that I want really bad. I’ve been a lot more frugal this month with mostly shopping at Walmart and the neighborhood grocery store. I also donated some thrifted shirts the other night to the building. I also donated some pumpkin spice cereal to the building that I got from a food pantry and thought tasted a little nasty.

Yeah I try to build up my long-term savings account, but that’s really slow going. I’ve been putting $50 in there every time I get paid, which is every two weeks. That’s money I do not touch.
