Say Anything F is for Fairy

I wanted to drive there originally to then head north to your neck of the woods to see a few Civil War sights.

What are you up to today @Loke?

That sounds miserable.

I enjoy winter sans snow shoveling. Hope you got it fixed.

I’m going to study. I’m really not progressing in Arabic much but I still enjoy it. I’m not a perfectionist like I used to be.

I’ll probably cook something too. And tend to the animals.

I had to hit my lowest point ever before I decided to make a change. It sounds like you are doing well too. Addiction is a horrible albeit misunderstood thing unless it happens to an individual or at least hits close to home with a family member.

Good job on kicking the Tramadol.

We did. It was miserable. The big freeze got our pipes Friday before Xmas. Inside our house the furnace couldn’t heat well. It got really bad. I’m honestly surprised we made it through. The gallon water bowl for the pets was frozen solid. In the KITCHEN.

Farts aren’t a mythical creature.

But it would have been a welcome change.

I think we had a thread with a poop emoji once and people didn’t like it.

A friend of my dads stole a drill off him. A drug addict. I keep telling my dad to forgive the guy but he won’t. Idk. I’m sure the guy pawned the drill for drug money.

okey.

Even though I grew up in an alcoholic home I still didn’t get the message. My dad would buy something nice, keep it for a while, then sell it when booze money was coming up short.

Was frustrating as a kid having to watch that.

Anytime it’s going to be below freezing we always leave our water running. It keeps the pipes from freezing.

I remember that. Not sure why people didn’t like it. The poo emoji was smiling.

I did that. Living in the Northeast, that’s drilled into you. But this was a historic drop and storm. 38 people DIED from freezing to death. In BUFFALO. I am 72 miles from there.

We know how to deal with cold and this storm still hurt us, bad.

Same. Finding, splitting, and hauling wood sucks but it saved us a million times over.

Man, I talk all the time about how I really miss our woodstove. It was a small one, but kept our old house toasty.

Those things are amazing! We used to cook steak and baked potatoes in ours.

Good morning :sunny: y’all. I’ve had my coffee, feeling okay.

I don’t really want to do anything today, but I suppose I have to. I have about an hour before I have to get in the shower. Working 12-close today.
