Hey, @Montezuma!

I’m doing good.

Feeling a little run down, but I think that’s because my shot is due in a few days.

Mostly been playing The Sims all day.

Interesting about the Vans,

You’ll have to send a picture!

Hey you!

I’m happy that you’re doing well.

I hope you feel even better when you get your shot.

I’ll post a pic of the Vans in the near future.

I’m still undecided on what color of them I want, but I got my eye on the all white ones.

All white is hard to maintain,

But looks super sharp.

Haha!

Yeah, I might get the black pair.

I’m kind of getting ahead of myself though. I won’t have enough to buy them until Friday.

I get it.

I have to wait to get my hair done until my husband gets paid again.

In fairness, it’s going to be like a $300 thing.

Plus I need some clothes for winter.

I’m cutting my hair and putting either blue or green in it.

Probably green.

I’m excited.

He says it’s not a good idea, that I should wait until after COVID, but damn, that could be forever!

Oh, I think you totally deserve a professional haircut so I totally understand.

I went to Great Clips a couple weeks ago to get a trim.

I just couldn’t stand looking bushy.

But it was all sanitary and safe.

Green sounds really cool!!

It will blend well with your eye color and natural hair color. :+1:

Thanks!

I think so too!

Yeah, I’m going to have to take the mother in law to Great Clips and get her hair done soon.

That’s her favorite place to go.

Her hair looks like a crazy old cat woman.

She usually keeps a short pixie cut, but it’s practically to her shoulders now.

Not a great look.

We gotta get back in the salons.

Not back everywhere, but the salons?

Yes.

Hi bud!

How was your meal? Did you ever get that Nightmare on Elm Street DVD you were looking for?

It was good! I have all the Nightmares on Blu Ray. Also an uncensored copy of 5 on VHS. I never bought the documentary about them though.

I’ve seen them all countless times, kind of wish I had bought Hellraiser instead since I’ve watched those a lot less.

Did you see any more of the new Twilight Zone?

Cool!

If I had to choose between Elm Street and Hellraiser I might choose Hellraiser. But I think as a franchise the Elm Street sequels are much better and a lot more fun.

Still haven’t caught the new Twilight Zone, I think I’m number 38 in line for it. So it’s going to probably be a little while before I get a copy.

I like Freddy better than Pinhead, but I get a real kick out of seeing all the other Cenobites. The Nightmare movies don’t really have anything like that.

Yeah, I feel like a lot of the Elm Street movies had a good balance of humor and horror. They didn’t take themselves too seriously it seems.

The cenobites are pretty rad characters.

The first Hellraiser is based on the Clive Barker book The Hellbound Heart. It’s a rad book even though it has some kinda icky sexual stuff that didn’t make it into the movie lol.

I think Hellraiser started getting good with Hellraiser 3: Hell on Earth. The first 2 didn’t have many cenobites. I think the first was pretty tame. 1 and 2 are on Hulu right now but they are literally my least favorites. I like Inferno and the one in outer space.

I might pay for a month of Shudder if they get Hellraiser on their platform. I plan on using a free week of Sling TV to binge season 2 of Tigtone once every episode has aired.

Oh got ya. My faves in the Hellraiser series are the first two haha.

Shudder seems like a really cool streaming service. Lots of cool features on it and documentaries.

Yeah I wanna see the one about cursed films.

Ohhhh! That one looks really good.

I want to see that one and the documentary about black people in horror films. I forgot the title of it.

I scored very, very low on the PSAT in high school. I didn’t do well in school and barely showed up. Didn’t try and take it seriously. My dad made my life very, very miserable and my step dad and mom were non-existent in my life growing up pretty much. It was just me and my father. But anyways, I think I scored in the 700s if I recall correctly (I hope so) and that’s pretty damn low. It would equate to an IQ score in the 90s. So I think I was a huge under achiever. I was made fun of and ridiculed by my high school physics professor too. Other than that high school was okay except with the occasional bully. JROTC was interesting to say the least. Only thing noteworthy looking back. My mom suggested I try it.

I scored in the 50s I think on the ASVAB in high school. I probably would flunk these tests again because of schizophrenia and not doing anything or taking care of my health, but there was a time when I was doing well academically and got good grades at community college and transfered to a top 20 university in the country in a top major. The major I picked has an average IQ of 130 for graduates I think so if I didn’t have schizophrenia I guess I would be around that. But maybe I lost some points.

I try to go off past lives and psychic memories like maybe it’s between 115-120. If I got cured or healed it could go back up. I am a lot dumber now but there are areas where I excel especially in left field ideas and conspiracy theories and outside the box creativity.

I skated by high school but I think I have shitty parents. It could be worse. I think it runs in the family. My mom is kind and good hearted but is a housewife and homemaker at heart and an evangelical. Not an academic, hardworker, or thinker.
