Do you get positive symptoms if you lower or don’t take your Abilify 2.5mg? For me 2.5mg is like not taking anything so that’s good. Were you more functional before psychosis? Do you think psychosis caused permanent brain malfunctioning?

I’ve reduced to 2.5mg ever since this year January and so far have not relapsed. The last time I came off abilify, I DID relapse by this time exactly.
So perhaps 2.5 mg does at least something?
I think like most people I was more functional before psychosis. I am extremely sad that I cannot jog anymore but I plan to perhaps come off abilify at some point and regain that ability.

Yes. But perhaps not significant amounts…
How long were you sick before you were medicated? So you still get positive symptoms at all on your ap?

Hi folks. I slept most of the day. Must have needed it. Took a med. Enjoying a Coca-Cola now.
Dad and I pulled a small job for this week. It may start tomorrow but Tuesday for sure. We’ll be putting up about five rolls of insulation in this lady’s garage with a little sheetrock work. I’ve done drywall before but not much insulation. Itchy arms here I come.
Kitties are good. Dogs are being barky today for some reason.
May make a pizza later. Or maybe chili dogs.

Why do they even put fiberglass in insulation?

I’m not sure but maybe it’s better now than it was years ago but don’t know that for sure.

Yep! And my back’s paying the price 
. I’ve been in bed like 3 days trying to heal up!
I help my dad a lot and have never messed my back up like this. I’m hoping by tomorrow I’ll be better.

Hopefully you’ll be able to jogg soon. I had a short walk with my father yesterday. If I can do it, surely you can do it!
Thankfully no positive symptoms on meds if I avoid triggers like horror movies/shows, blood, diseases/hospital like Dr House and Gray Anatomy etc, news and politics especially middle east, religion. I had personality, inappropriate emotions and cognitive problems since 14-15 y.o., voices started at 18 y.o. and got suicidal telling me to kill myself. I tried to kill myself in an intentional car accident at 18 y.o. Another suicide attempt at 20 y.o., liver failure from poisoning. I was diagnosed with psychosis that same day, they pumped me with IV antidote and brought me to mental hospital where a psychiatrist diagnosed me.

I was 135lb in 2011. I was 295lb 2 months ago, now I am 280lb. My blood pressure and cholesterol are normal now too. Meds helped and Metamucil Fiber brought those further down.

In the med and then psych hospitals… I was in for 21 days.
I’m so calm and relaxed now. My psych med changes helped both.

I’m sorta half arsed watching Columbo on TV. I love Peter Falk.
I might throw on The Dust Bowl in a little while. It’s a Ken Burn’s documentary I got from the library.
