Never tried it but I like their spicy sesame mayo and dumpling sauces like Gyoza sauce etc
@Loke The Chinese mustard is spicy?
Itās spicy. Has a unique taste. Next time you go to a Chinese restaurant try it.
Ugh! My ambition is pretty minimal today. Still going to hit up the banjos after I drink a Coca-Cola though. I napped for some of the afternoon. My meds must have a long half life even into the afternoon of the next day. May try caffeine pills soon.
The litter box will need a scoop too.
Thank heavens my Prozac showed up about ten minutes ago. I donāt like it when I run out of meds. FedEx must be busy already with the holiday season.
Guess my aunt and cousin are putting Thanksgiving dinner on a Saturday. That will be fun. I have no idea what dad and his girlfriend are going to do.
In Japan they dip fries in Mayo. The Mayo is a bit funnier than ours, but I tried it and it was tasty.
Thereās a place near me that does truffle mayo for fries ā itās great.
@anon4362788 i tried to look up a recipe for Japanese Mayo but couldnāt get thru all the pop up ads and just gave up.
So last night I ordered a box set of four films by a classic Italian genre director. So excited!
So today I finally had full sets of x-rays done for my spine, thoracic and lumbar, have no problems with my cervical (neck) spine.
Iāve been doing PT for over a month, and it is not helping. If anything it seems to making things worse, especially since I started doing exercises at home.
Iām eager to find out the results, just wondering what the hell is wrong with my back. Iāve had these issues for ten years.
My Zoom H1N recorder is in the parcel locker at the post office but itās too cold to go get it. Tomorrow is fine after I bring my car to the shop.
Sobriety is going well. Was tempted to pull into the liquor store today but I refrained. Dad is drinking blackberry brandy or some garbage. It smells terrible to me.

Ingredients
- 2 pasteurized egg yolks ( at room temperature ; If you cannot find a pasteurized egg, use the best, freshest egg you can find for this recipe. You can pasteurize your eggs if you have an immersion circulator. Hereās my tutorial.)
- 2 tsp Dijon mustard (Mustard not only adds flavor but it also helps to keep the mayonnaise stable and emulsify the mixture, reducing the risk of the mayo breaking. I personally consider mustard a ānot optionalā ingredient.)
- 1 ½ cup neutral-flavored oil (vegetable, rice bran, canola, etc) (I used canola oil)
- 1 tsp kosher/sea salt (I use Diamond Crystal; use half for table salt)
- 2 tsp sugar (I added 2 more tsp at the end, but itās up to your preference)
- ½ tsp dashi powder
- 2 Tbsp rice vinegar
- 4 tsp fresh lemon juice
Instructions
- Gather all the ingredients. Tip: If you cut down the recipe ingredients, they donāt have enough volume for the food processor or blender to do the work so you may need to hand whisk them (or use a hand mixer or immersion blender). Make sure the egg yolks are at room temperature.
- In the food processor or blender (my food processor is a 3 cup bowl), put the egg yolk and mustard and process for 20 seconds.
- With the food processor running, SLOWLY drizzle canola oil ( A THIN, STEADY STREAM OF OIL ) until about ½ cup of the oil has been added. The mixture is beginning to thicken and emulsify. If you add too fast, it doesnāt emulsify.
- Add kosher salt, granulated sugar, and dashi powder and give everything a whirl again.
- Continue to add the oil in a thin steady stream until about ½ cup of the oil has been added. I use āstirā while adding the oil.
- Finally add the rice vinegar, lemon juice, and the remaining oil and process for an extra 10 seconds, just until the ingredients are combined and emulsified. Donāt blend the mayo too long as homemade mayo comes together pretty quickly in the blender. When blended too long, the emulsion that brought the spread together is more likely to break, either from overprocessing or overheating.
- Taste the mayonnaise and adjust with salt, sugar (I added 2 more tsp, so I used total 4 tsp), or lemon juice to your liking.
@loke for dashi powder you can substitute 1/4 tsp Accent
I feel really embarrassed and ashamed because today my mom helped me realize that all those times I heard my neighbors being loud and arguing I couldāve been hearing voices.
Can voices mutate and change over time?
Absolutely. Itās happened to me in the past especially if I get super stressed.
Sorry if you are struggling bud.

Gotcha! Thank you so much for that info.
Iām feeling decent though just a little embarrassed about calling the cops multiple times on my neighbor. I feel like a giant douche.
If the police never knocked on your door and accused you of giving false information then you may very well indeed have some shitty neighbors. Itās hard sometimes as Iāve been there myself.
You a good Beetle. The struggle is real but everyone on this site is a survivor. Take care of yourself.
Yes, they can change over time.
My sister kept hearing her neighbors yelling at each other (townhomes)⦠So, she went over there and asked them to be quiet. A lady answered the door and said she lives alone.
So, it was just hallucinations. Maybe you are experiencing something similar?
Yeah, I very well could be experiencing something similar. The cops told me a couple times that it was just a man watching his TV really loud. But a lady who works for the building told me a woman and her son live there.
So itās just bizarre how Iām hearing different things from different people.
@ThePickinSkunk Thank you Skunkalicous. You rock.
