Sad music, please?

I’m in a mood and would like to listen to sad music. What’s your favorite sad song?

You sound like me a lot of times. Are you okay? How was your day?

“Slip Sliding Away” by Paul Simon.

This was the anthem of my emo teenage self.

Hope you feel better.

I’ve been better. Having a lot of sz symptoms, pain is pretty bad, diet isn’t going the way I was hoping, and my late son’s birthday is Saturday. It’s just a lot going on and I feel like moping for awhile before bed.

Listening to Justin Bieber makes me sad.

I’m looking to cry and throw myself a pity party, not looking for reasons to kill myself.

What would SZ.com be without this song? It should be mandatory for someone to post this at least once a day.

Not one of their more well known songs but a special one nonetheless.

Take your meds. PRNs if needed? Exercise. Drink a glass of water. Stay hydrated. Eat well. Get some good sleep. Maybe write down how you are feeling?

I don’t know how I can best help you, and others, here. But I know I am in the process of bettering myself so I don’t think I have it quite figured out yet. I don’t think anyone does, really. I have often thought about writing a book about how to be happy and stay productive. I think I would have to master life more first. However ridiculous that sounds I believe we have certain attributes and skill sets that are more well-yoked than others. You gotta work for your strengths. Don’t bother beating a dead horse of a weakness. Everyone deserves love, dignity, and respect. Sometimes it doesn’t happen that way but just keep on going. If you’re going through hell, don’t stop. Right? Keep on going.

Help others. Make a joke. Kindness is contagious. Don’t let things you don’t need or that hinder you, sink you. On the other hand, let your things that help keep you afloat. Remember everyone has ups and downs. It would not work if we weren’t in flux usually. A healthy balance of emotions is nice. I get sad too even but how could we appreciate the oases if we didn’t have desert?

Despite the somewhat cheery music, it’s a sad, depressing little song.
I was in a board & care home in 1993 when this came out, I remember it well.

Alrighty then!

Note that I actually posted the original and not a dance mix. This means I like you.

There are many country songs that are sad that usually start with lyrics like:

:notes:I was born when I was seventeen :notes:

And who could forget:

:notes:I spilled my beer and cried :notes:

And the iconic:

:notes:No more beavers by the dam :notes:

Jk!

I don’t know any sad songs. I hope you feel better.
