“Schizophrenia is a debilitating neurological disease that can reduce life expectancy by almost 20 years."
“Furthermore, they are 2 to 3 times more likely to die early compared to the general population.”
Ooh, yeah. Uh. Not in my case. Likely, I will live well past 100. Being a self-sufficient social isolationist, I could argue, actually benefits life. The general population are just as likely to pass away earlier than expected, if not more so. Because … neurotypicals tend to be social creatures … hanging around dangerous people can prove detrimental and deleterious to life health. For example, I don’t catch COVID; COVID has to catch me. Social distancing comes naturally to me; whereas, normal people want to be social. COVID is like the social disease. If everyone was like me, COVID would have nowhere to spread, no human hosts.
Of course, I don’t smoke, don’t drink, don’t do drugs, don’t have sex. Death won’t come to me for a very long time. I don’t do what normal people do; I do what I want to do.
