A great man. Started off as a peanut farmer and became a great humanitarian.

Carter had a distinguished career in the United States Navy. He was a nuclear engineer on submarines, and was chosen by Admiral Rickover (the father of the nuclear navy) to serve on the USS Seawolf.

Carter was honorably discharged with the rank of Lieutenant.

Mere words can’t adequately describe how much I admired him.

100 years is a record for a US President. He died in his ranch instead of a hospice. Good choice.

I believe his wife wrote a book on mental health. She was an advocate for good mental health in America.

I saw a notification about this on my phone. Such a sad day. President Carter was a good man. Rest in Peace, Sir. :dove:
