So had a crap day with the bat getting caught out after 4 runs in our cricket game today. Pretty much just have to sit around watching everyone else bat which can be frustrating getting out that early.
Anyways. Was getting late in the day and without notice the captain said I was to bowl the last over of the day. Right arm mediums and some ordinary couple of balls without much of a warm up and rusty from not bowling much lately. Still. Got their best bat. Decent ball into the pads which bounced onto middle stump!
So. 1/1 off 4 balls and I get to finish the over next week! Iām chuffed to do something different from batting as it keeps you in the game! It was their better bat I got out too!
