“When I think back
on all the crap I learned in high school,
It’s a wonder I can think at all.
And though my lack
of education hasn’t hurt me none
I can read the writing on the wall”.

They call it high school cause that’s where you learn to get stoned…

Graceland is the only album i can listen too without skipping a song. Its perfect

Yeah, I like that album too.

Sometimes I used to be driving + I’d break out singing that song. I’m not good at singing but I was convinced i sang better in the car. Sometimes I’d go in to singing falsetto. THAT impressed me.

Yeah, high school is where I perfected my joint rolling technique. But those days are long gone. Now, I can say with much conviction that my worst day sober is better than my best day using.

It’s more of a shower song. Bathrooms usually have better acoustics.

agreed man… I still gotta get to that point with my relationship to alcohol… I’m still just not pleased with my mind… but I crack away at that every day… if entertaining myself automatically without the effort of focus and all that becomes easier… I don’t think I’ll need that external stimulation so much… nor will I feel as bored so much… which is another thing that brings me back to drinking…

caffeine is a useful stimulant at times… especially before work… but it also shouldn’t be used to escape boredom…

I used to use potpourri to practice rolling joints.

I’m glad that time is over though. I can focus more on myself and learning.

People in the house can hear you in the shower. I had the car all to myself. Hey - I bought cigarette papers for when I ran out of cigarettes + got butts out of the trash for tobacco + recycled. Sometimes I rolled the yellow pages.

Yeah, the guys I lived with did that all the time.
