What is “that research study”?

I dont know what kind of research it is, but sounds like it could be interesting - good luck to you @NiceHat

Thank you for your email inquiry to the National
Institute of Mental Health. Here at NIMH we are conducting ongoing
inpatient and outpatient studies of schizophrenia and schizoaffective
disorder. We explore the role of genes and brain functioning.
The testing includes non-invasive brain scans (MRI and fMRI),
neuropsychological tests, interviews, and a blood draw. We are located
on the campus of the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda,
Maryland.
If you or someone you know is interested in
participating in research here, the next step is a telephone interview.
You may call me through our toll free line at 1-888-674-6464.  Or you can call me direct at (301) 435-8974.
If you reach
my voice mail, simply leave me your number and some weekday times when
you can be reached. Alternatively, you can email me your phone number
and the best time for me to call you. I am usually here from 8am-4:00pm Eastern Time Monday-Friday.
We appreciate your interest and I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,
Vince Del Balzo, LCSW-C
Research Social Worker
