This is a very accurate representation. I don’t hear voices but I think there is dialogue being inserted in my head.

I don’t experience this. I am told people I see and hear talking to me aren’t real, but I don’t hear ranom voices. I just hear the people I see talking

You really can’t simulate psychosis in a video since the subconscious drives that you become aware of are at the forefront. If you take these proto-thoughts seriously since they seem more meaningful that causes delusions. I would argue you can’t simulate hallucinations either since at their core they are delusions.

yes it is like this. i just call it telepathy. i suppose it’s just in the mind. i hear ex girlfriends being trashed. i’m being mocked and trashed. and all the while i’m experiencing my psyche being open to the world. imagine walking through a store with all that being communicated to the people around you.
i will think maybe the office downstairs hears me and there they will be in my mind saying something. the greater world is terrifying. and all the while i’m trying to quit smoking.
I struggled to describe this to others. Intend to borrow the “proto-thoughts” term that you use. Thank you.
